Bilateral meeting with the delegation of SAI Kosovo

On November 20, 2024, a delegation of the State Audit Office of the Republic of Kosovo consisting of Vlora Spanca, Auditor General, Bezad Halilaj, Deputy Auditor General, Agron Fetiu, Assistant Auditor General and Safet Berisha, General Director,.visited the State Audit Office in Zagreb on a bilateral working visit. 
After the introductory speeches and the presentation of both institutions, the challenges of SAIs functioning in a changing environment were discussed, as well as the experiences in conducting audits were discussed, with a special focus on the approach and methodology of efficiency audits. In this sense, knowledge and experience in carrying out the performance audits was exchanged through the presentation of concrete examples of good practice. 
Given the similarity of the approach to work and the development of audit methodology, it was agreed to intensify institutional cooperation in the future, in order to improve the effects and achieve the best possible professional results through the exchange of knowledge and experience.
