Report on the work of SAO Croatia for 2024

Objavljeno 15. 4. 2025. In accordance with the provisions of Article 24 of the Act on the State Audit Office (Official Gazette 25/19), the Chief State Auditor shall report to the Croatian Parliament on the work of the Office for the previous year by the end of March of the current year. In accordance with the above, the State Audit Office submitted to the Croatian Parliament, within the legally prescribed deadline, the Report on the Work of the State Audit Office Croatia for 2024. In addition to information on the Office's competence, the Report on the Work provides data on the annual program and work plan, as well as data on audit procedures, audits performed by type of audit, group of entities and subject of audit, as well as opinions expressed and assessments given on the efficiency of the audited entities' operations. It also provides data on checks on the implementation of orders and recommendations given to entities in previous audits, carried out within the framework of a separate audit procedure. The report also contains information on other activities of the Office, activities from the Strategic Plan for 2023 - 2027, assessments of users and auditees on the quality of the Office's work, international cooperation, internal audit activities carried out and data on employees. In addition, an integral part of this Report is the Independent Auditor's Report on the Audit of the Office's Annual Financial Statements for 2024 and the Annual Report on the Execution of the Office's Financial Plan for 2024.
