Bilateral meeting with the President of the National Audit Office of the Czech Republic

At the invitation of Ivan Klešić, Auditor General of the Republic of Croatia, on October 23, 2019, Miloslav Kala, President of the State Audit Office of the Czech Republic, accompanied by Michaela Rosecka, Head of the Department for International Cooperation, visited the State Audit Office. During the bilateral meeting, among other things, the roles and responsibilities of the two institutions, the functioning and results of EUROSAI's BIEP platform for the exchange of audit reports, methodology, questionnaires and other documents useful for the work of the auditors, the contemporary visualization of the register of audit entities through the organization of hechatons were discussed. The participants also discussed the issues of the EUROSAI Chairmanship and the status of preparations for the EUROSAI Congress to be held in Prague next year, and the possibilities for future cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Republic of Croatia and the Czech Republic. After the meeting, Vladimir Bilek, an independent representative of the Czech and Slovak national minorities in the Croatian Parliament, joined the Heads of the two Supreme Audit Institutions.
