First Joint EUROSAI Strategic Goal 1 and Strategic Goal 2 Meeting “SGs Gallery: Strategic Sight 2024-2030” (Bratislava, 5-6 March 2025)
In Bratislava, Slovak Republic, on 5-6 March more than 50 participants from 24 European countries gathered, to participate in the first joint meeting of representatives implementing EUROSAI Strategic Goal 1 and Strategic Goal 2.
The two-day international meeting was organised by five countries - EUROSAI Strategic Goal 1 co-leaders, the National Audit Office (NAO) and the German Supreme Audit Institution (SAI), Strategic Goal 2 co-leaders, the SAIs of Sweden and Poland, and the host the Slovak SAI.
The meeting's agenda was focused on:

The meeting's agenda was focused on:
- providing participants with a deeper understanding of both EUROSAI and its Strategic Goals,
- the currently active working groups, project groups and other activities under the umbrella of EUROSAI Strategic Goals 1 and 2,
- presentations of new projects and upcoming activities to strengthen auditors' competences in EUROSAI's new strategic period (2024-2030), and
- team building, networking and exchange of contacts through the creative meeting sessions.
Also, during the meeting, interactive workshops were organized in order to identify the current challenges faced by the SAIs and to explore potential activities and projects within the EUROSAI framework to solve them. In this sense, the importance of cooperation, innovation and joint learning was emphasized so that:
- SAIs remain resilient and advanced in the ever-evolving public sector environment, and
- future EUROSAI initiatives stay driven by real needs and priorities so that EUROSAI remains relevant.
The Croatian State Audit Office presented the purpose and goals of the EUROSAI Network for Ethics, the achieved results, upcoming challenges and possible ways to overcome them.
