LAUNCH OF EUROSAI NETWORK FOR ETHICS (N.ET)
The State Audit Office of the Republic of Croatia and the Court of Accounts of Portugal are happy to announce the launch of EUROSAI Network for Ethics (N.ET) established by XI. EUROSAI Congress in April 2021.
The N.ET is an online permanent platform that keeps SAIs informed and collaborative in the topics of SAIs’ ethics management and SAIs’ integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives and anti-corruption role. It intends to contribute to SAI community by:
In that respect, the N.ET platform will allow uploading relevant news and documents and creating active links to all interesting courses and events.
The N.ET especially supports and facilitates innovative working methods and encourages exploring and sharing knowledge in areas that may raise new ethical concerns. Cooperation should be as effective as possible and therefore the N.ET aim to work mainly virtually to achieve operative mind-set.
Use of the Project Groups’ approach to undertake concrete and limited tasks that a group of SAIs are willing to perform (organising an event, a seminar or a training course, preparing, testing or updating a guidance or a methodological document, conducting cooperative audits with interested SAIs, etc.) is encouraged.
This collaboration activity is open to all EUROSAI members, to community of other INTOSAI regional organisations as well as broader audience interested in audit and ethics related area. All of them are invited to share their plans, relevant documents and information, experiences and good practice.

- promoting the theoretical and practical study of the problems and matters relating to SAIs’ ethics management and integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives, and related disciplines,
- collaborating in the exchange of techniques and knowledge considered to be of interest of SAIs, especially in the area of SAIs’ ethics management and SAIs’ integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives and other related initiatives,
- promoting and facilitating continuous exchange of information and documentation among SAIs in relation to ethics management, integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives and other related initiatives,
- making effort to achieve greater understanding of problems and matters relating to the audit of public finances, and especially in the part relating to SAIs’ ethics management and SAIs’ integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives and other related initiatives.
