Meeting of the INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee

Objavljeno 12. 7. 2019. From 1 to 3 July 2019 the Auditor General, Ivan Klešić, participated with his associates at the annual meeting of the INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee, held in Tokyo, Japan.
The meeting of the members of the Committee was organized by the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and its Development Initiative (IDI) to examine the needs of SAIs related to capacity building. The host of this year's Board meeting was the State Audit Office of Japan. Along with the annual meeting of the Board, workshops were held with discussions on the issues of auditing in the complex challenging context, the independence of the SAI, the importance of professional standards, further professionalization of staff as a critical factor of success and continuous improvement of efficiency.
There were also debates about the competence of employees in SAIs, measurement of impacts, continuous improvement, progress as well as facing future challenges, including the implementation of the INTOSAI standards and continued improvement and support for professionalism.
