Head of Department for auditing EU funds paid a visit to the European Court of Auditors

Mr Ivan Klesic, Auditor General, accompanied by Ms Lidija Pernar, Assistant Auditor General and Ms Anita Materljan, Head of Department for auditing EU funds, on 20 October 2015 paid a visit to the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg.
Within the framework of the visit, representatives of the SAO participated in the first part of the International Conference on European development aid after 2015.

In a midday of the visit representatives of the SAO held a meeting with Mr. Vitor Caldeira, President of the European Court of Auditors, Mr. Oscar Heric, Member of the European Court of Auditors, Mr. Neven Mates, Member of the European Court of Auditors and other representatives of the Court, during which possibilities of involvement of the European Court of Auditors and the National Audit Office on a number of joint activities including conducting a coordinated audit of EU funds were discussed, and further steps were agreed.
